Our Story

A band from Newcastle with something to say.

Smith&Co are an indie band from Newcastle Upon Tyne, forged from a shared love of the music that defined a generation. Influenced by the timeless sounds of bands such as: Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Level 42, Prefab Sprout, Tears for Fears, Deacon Blue and a lot more to mention, we bring that classic 80s and 90's energy to a contemporary sound.

Our debut album Everything You Wanted is now available on all major streaming platforms — Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube Music. It's the record we always wanted to make, and we couldn't be prouder of it.

We're available for live performances across the North East and UK — from intimate venues and club nights to festivals, corporate events and private bookings. Come and catch us live.
